I am a complete shoe unshopper ;) I hate going to the stores and look for shoes. I only own the necessity pairs and even those are highly unimaginative - army boots for winter, allstars, something light for the summer. That's about it ;)

Lately I've bought some DVDs and ordered a biography book of my latest fan-thingie. Nothing spectacular. I am trying to figure out where to travel in the summer, which means I can't spend too much money anymore.
One beer to rule them all.
One whiskey to find them.
One vodka to bring them all
and in the drunkness bind them!

Forgot to mention the nice pocket calendar i bought. It's called Tapebook, and the link will show you why ;) . You can look at detailed pics by clicking on the products.

Well, the two most important purchases I have made recently are a car and an electronic drum kit. Not a very expensive car of course because I had limited funds but it runs well, is good on gas, and helps me get to and from school.

I want another acoustic kit but I had to get an electronic one b/c I am living in a townhome and there are 'noise regulations' in this neighborhood. At least I can work on my double bass and all that good shit. Any drummers out there, Axis Longboard pedals are the best damn pedals EVER!!! Can't wait to reach 220bpm and beyond!!!

Last night I bought a pair of black flip flops to replace the pair that was lost in Lake Bodom a few years ago. I'm really picky about shoes, and it took me this long to find a replacement.
I also found a pair of 'gladiator' style sandals that I actually liked, so I bought those too. What I'll be doing with sandals in February with a foot of snow on the ground, I don't know.

I understand being picky about regular shoes...but flip-flops? It's not like there's much style to those.

You wouldn't believe how difficult it was to find just a plain black pair that are actually comfortable. Most of them have designs or flowers or some similar kind of stuff on them. Or they're bright pink or something. Most black men's sandals are stamped with some brand name all over them, and I just wanted a completely black pair.
(I wouldn't have thought there were many styles of flip flops either until I tried to find a pair that I really wanted.)

 "Flipflopped 24/7" sounds fitting for Bodom, because it seems like a euphemism for being drunk, which they always are.
