Last night I bought a pair of black flip flops to replace the pair that was lost in Lake Bodom a few years ago. I'm really picky about shoes, and it took me this long to find a replacement.
I also found a pair of 'gladiator' style sandals that I actually liked, so I bought those too. What I'll be doing with sandals in February with a foot of snow on the ground, I don't know.

The funny thing is that it wasn't even myself who lost them. After I passed out in the tent, my stupid ex decided that was has going to consume almost all of the other case of beer we'd dragged through the woods with us to drink the next night, eat a bunch of magic mushrooms he got from some other random people in the woods, and apparently wear my sandals to go running through the bushes. And then leave the tent door open all night while it rained so that all of the clothes and everything else got soaked.
So it totally sounds like something the members of COB would do, justifying a song being about it.

A bright green evening gown (prom dress?) from a second hand shop. For pust purposes. It's like Slavic Halloween, happening this weekend and then on Tuesday. My "mask" will be Minerva McGonnagall - just that I didn't find anything emerald, so I got me bright green. Young Minerva, perhaps?
