The day after Easter Sunday (Húsvét hétfő) is the day of this very nice tradition in Hungary: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5bBrJd1u9M.
It is called "Húsvéti locsolkodás" and it's a fertility ritual, boys sprinkle water on girls. Nowadays boys usually use a drop of perfume instead of water. That's a shame! A bucket of water is much more effective and it doesn't smell.
There is a village where firemen use their fire-engine to sprinkle the girls, the water-gusher often makes the girls fall down. Last year they didn't do the "locsolkodás" because of the cold weather. The girls got really upset, they complained. The firemen had to promise that they will do the "locsolkodás" even if the weather is cold.
