Eddie Izzard is the funniest comic EVER.I've seen lots of his videos,and live once too.

(Breast)ENVY! Which tour?

When at Izzard, another great TV show for me is a British quiz show QI (stands for Quite Interesting). Izzard was in the pilot show, now there's 8 seasons already. Hosted by Stephen Fry, always has 4 contestants (Alan Davies always being there, others usually comics). Basically they have to guess little known facts and they get points for being interesting and minus points if they say something bloody obvious. Questions are of course tricky. Or the answers are.

One beer to rule them all.
One whiskey to find them.
One vodka to bring them all
and in the drunkness bind them!

Second half of South Park Season 14 has started reasonably good, but not amazingly funny. With only like three episodes to go, I hope their Big Bang is yet to come ;)

I looked it up, and what do you know, it's based on that ongoing comic I read a few years ago. I really liked the first episode, they showed that they're not afraid to show some motherfucking gore! Zombie movies made in the last ten years have just been wimp parades of people who don't fancy getting their large intestine pulled out by a dozen ghouls. Let's hope this thing stays on the air.

Dead Set was a good miniseries, yeah. Also recommended.

@Ärväthyyll -i think it was 2004 or 2005.
i tried to record the walking dead my lame dvr just skipped it-which it does once in awhile.i think i'll rent the dvd once it's out.A friend of mine loved those comics-even though it was like 3 issues a year.I thought they were good too.
it's just another in a lifetime's worth of lessons never learned

i think i remember you mentioning it a time or 2. but yeah, you are dead right, this show isn't afraid to crack your bones open to suck the marrow out. definitely going to get better with each episode and will have you emotionally attached. the zombie makeup is top notch, no one is fucking with this show in terms of quality.

tonights episode was superb. can't wait til next week. if they can somehow merge this show and breaking bad together, i think i will ejaculate. zombies are technically just methhead cannibals. walt and jesse vs. the undead, how crucial.

The way they executed the beginning when he woke up in the hospital was actually way better in the TV series than in the comic. They built up the atmosphere before he encountered the first zombie, which was worlds better than how they handled it in the comic.
The comic improved a lot after a couple of issues, so the TV series can pull off some good adaption freedom to improve on the story in the first season.

I'll have to check out the second episode tonite! It's not airing here for at least another 2 seasons, so you know.. pirate.
