Dreams/Nightmares

Since people have started posting their dreams in MRB, I thought I just reopen this thread from the old board (I can't remember my own dreams atm and thus leave it to someone else to start).

I was in a Finntroll gig, which was in a small wooden hut in the middle of Lapland forest. There wasn't much audiende, in fact, I remember that I was the only one who liked 'em Anyways, then suddenly I started to chat with Trollhorn about Jaktens Tid or something and had a couple of beers (which is fucking strange, I don't like beer). And again suddenly I was in the forest, chased by wolves and then I got an invitation to Trollhorn's wedding.
Boy I love dreams.

I usually do remember my dreams and I often have grotesque ones.
So, last week, I had this really strange dream. I dreamt I was in a desert and I dug a hole and deep under the surface I excavated a gold temple or pyramid. I was extremely happy and wanted to share it with the world, but the world wasn't interested at all. Instead, they filled the hole up with sand while I was still in it, not even taking a glance at what was in there.
And I was slowly suffocating.

Since it started off with music related dreams, I'll share a Darkthrone related dream I had some months ago.

I was going to the first Darkthrone gig in many years, Fenriz finally caved in to the pressure. I of course brought my tom-tom drum and a stick, as did everyone else. We all sit down on the floor and pound the rhythm to In The Shadows of the Horns together with Fenriz and Nocturno. There is something wrong, however; Fenriz and Nocturno suck at playing in synch! They stop playing in the middle of the song, Fenriz comes up to the mike and says "I'm sorry, we haven't actually rehearsed since the early 90s when we stopped playing live. We just record the instrument tracks separately in a studio, we don't know how to play as a band."

He looked very sad. Everyone went home disappointed.

I don't usually remember my dreams, and when I do it's usually really disjointed, but I do remember parts of a weird (and Finntroll-related) one from the other night -

My friend and I were hanging out with Vreth, randomly, and I left the room for a moment. When I returned, my friend had cut Vreth's hair short. I asked why, and he went on a tirade about how "I'm an adult now and I need to start acting like one" etc. etc. He also said he was dropping his stage name and going by "TJ" or something from now on.

...it sounds even stupider when I write it out, man.

Heheh. Sounds familiar. I have strange dreams like that too. Pyramids come up a lot in my dreams. I'll be back in time, and the whole world is very raw and dangerous, and I have to get somewhere. In the last pyramid dream I had I was running through the halls on the interior to get to the top of the pyramid. A bunch of priests were chanting in a room near the top and if they caught me they would sacrifice me, so I had to be sneaky. Then I was suddenly an old Asian man with three sons and we lived on a boat that we steered through the city streets. There was a man sitting at a cafe who had worms living on his face and I knew it was because we were back in time and there were no doctors. But you could smoke in bars still, which I thought was nice

Tonight dreamt I was in a church watching a man with a cello play Urfaust's Drudenfus. During one riff he held the bottom of the cello between his legs, bending over and rocking out like hell.

Haven't listened to that song for over a year, what the hell. Now I know what it sounds like played on a cello, at least.
