Good & Bad about today

Good: Spending New Year's eve at home. Or it's bad? I'm not sure.

Bad: Back from the trip. Yesterday was pure hell, and I think I will never stop hating both unreliable people and the Deutsche Bahn AG. 8,5 hours and 42 Euros later, I still wasn't where I wanted to be. I want my own car!
Bad: I don't think I'd be able to afford one.
Good: My dad is a really awesome and caring guy!
Good: Had a good time with old friends over the last 1,5 weeks, lots of memories and booze involved.
Bad: No alcohol for a month now. I have made this decision in late October already, and now there is no going back.
Good:No alcohool for a month now. I know it's gonna be tough, but it'll do me good.

i myself am also on the wagon,but it's mostly because i am on emergency call,and will be a lot this month and i don't drink when i'm on call.

Good-a lot of good sports entertainment for me lately.the teams i support are doing well.
Bad-not really bad,but i am busy all the time last month or so.need to relax,but it won't be for awhile.
bad-wacked my head on duct work today,bled like a stuck pig.

No, as I wrote above, it'll be for a month - at least that's my plan. We'll see how things go from there. But since I drank a ridicolous amount of beer and other alcoholic beverages over the last two weeks (and knew before that this was going to happen) I decided early that I would reduce my alc consumption to zero afterwards. The final booze-stage was my best friend's 30th birtday party - quite a worthy finale.

And I am also curious about that surprise, Ärväthyyll!

Bad: Huge scandal at my workplace. The owners of the company I work for arranged some kind of New Year party for us. The problem is that many people don't want to come. They say they don't know how will they get home after the party. Yes, that's a stupid excuse. To tell the truth I don't understand them, but I don't really care. The management got very angry.
Good: Party tomorrow with steak, grill, sausages and pálinka.
Good: I know how will I get home. By underground and bus.

Well, if that's an option and those are actually safe to use at night, then you're right: lame excuses. I know for a fact that it's different at other places tho and people really are screwed if there's no driver or they don't want to spend a fortune on cabs.

Bad: Tried to install/work with different things on my Laptop last night, and nothing worked (either not at all or not as planned). Got really angry about it and yelled at the machine for quite some time. Sometimes I think this appartment's air just isn't right for me.

Good: At long last I have Internet at my apartment. I waited a month and a half.
Bad: I still can't get the hang of how to pay bills here. I keep getting angry notes from companies, saying that I didn't write down something properly on the form.

GOOD: Have finally got broadband, as our old server was getting rid of us because we were on Dial up. It is great and I can use my laptop and upload whole songs in a short space of time!!! as opposed to dial ip when it took nearly two hours to upload a sample of 30 seconds
BAD: Have still got a cold, the snotfest continues I have had this for over a fortnight normally I do not get colds. However this one wont let go!

Ye curious's you Th surprise was a very beautiful package I got from a very beautiful friend. Filled with loads of great stuff of emotional value. Just a really happy feeling.

Good: Studying my favourite part of Tolkien's world: The Fëanorians.
Good: Friday.
Good: Two new Eddie Izzard films are out, must watch asap. He isn't exactly a superb actor (although I find 2 of his performances brilliant), he often even makes e cringe, but hell, it'll do.
