HORSE the band = Most awesome band / 8bit music thread

Everyone get on spotify and listen to this magnificent band. Defined as "post-hardcore subgenre of Nintendocore" or insert other genre here, it doesn't matter as long as it sounds cool which it does. Finntroll should definitely do more songs with 8bit keyboards, listen and learn m9s!

Well, we did have a band recommendation thread in the old forum in addition to the Now Playing thread.

I don't like hardcore, but I like Post (all kinds). Band is halfway there.

Pft, make band threads and if no one care they disappear by themselves ^^ Anyaway the youtube video isn't that great a first impression since handheld live recordings tend to suck and the 8bitness doesn't shine through =(

Feel free to recommend other 8bit/blipblop/whatever bands in this thread then ^^ Because you better know some.

Only 8-bit I've been known to listen to is Covox, I've seen the guy live a couple of times when he's played at a local festival.

Machinae Supremacy is another metal band mixing the genre, but they are neither grim nor dark. And the vocals kinda suck but they have some awesome covers/tunes. Thankfully they don't have vocals in all of the songs.

Of course I've heard SMK, they're on the radio every now and then. Most notably the summer plague Alla Som Inte Dansar by Maskinen, a group with one or two members from SMK.
