I have just been spanked by YouTube for copyrights violation - some of the Finntroll interviews videos were cut out of documentaries and their owner reported me. Fair enough, I didn't have permissions for those.
Consequently I removed a couple of other videos by the same owner as well - he didn't report those, but I am not sure how many strikes I am allowed.
What pisses me off is how stupid the YouTube process is ... In case this never happened to you: you get an email with a short explanation on what happened and some links to laws and stuff. Translated roughly by - I presume - google translate into your language. You can't use YouTube with your own account until you confirm that you know that you are a bad bad person.
Then you are automatically transferred to a video that "explains" your wrongdoing to you. And, no kidding, it's a
HAPPY TREE FRIENDS video, just with no fun and gore, only some preaching of the law. The character gets hit a bit and then the cannon shoots him into his pirate ship, but you don't really see anything bloody as was characteristic for the original cartoon series. Watered down Happy Tree Friends? Gosh.
And then you have to take a quiz to prove you learnt something. Yes, really. At the end, they not only take away your will to upload, but the will to live as well. Watered down Happy Tree Friends ... There is no shame in this world

Well ... What I wanted to say is that now the collection is a couple of videos short ... And that makes Ärväthyyll very sad.
