Your opinions on Nifelvind

i love nifelvind, it has a certain atmosphere over it which i really like. choosing a favorite song from this album is hard,all the songs are so different! cant wait for the next album.

I like the whole album, from the first song to the last one, it's difficult for me to choose a favourite song, they all have something that makes them amazing.

Good album, I especially love under bergets rot and I love to hear Solsagan live

I'm not sure if this has been brought up before, but did any other SNES geeks notice that Den Frusna Munnen sounds a lot like the theme for Super Castlevania IV? I mean, they're not creepy exact, or anything, but they most def remind me of one another. :'3

Past that, I actually think Nifelvind is my favourite Finntroll album to date. I didn't listen to it for the first time until last month (a crime, I'm aware), but it's quickly overthrown Jaktens Tid for the top spot.

I'm beginning to like Nifelvind a lot. After more than two years... I'm kind of slow, nevermind. Usually I prefer raw and brutal music like Ur Jordens Djup for example. However, what I find awesome in Nifelvind is the sophisticated evilness. Very good. Well, intro, most people love it. I don't like intros and I always wondered why do certain bands make me listen to intros. They don't like me? But there's no instrumental outro, which is good. We have Under dvärgens fot instead, I love it. I think it's a very good thing that Vreth sings in his native language. Not that I understand it, but I can read the translations. Amalaith wrote here that listening to Nifelvind was the best when you are in a bad mood, but I don't know. Listening to Nifelvind when I'm in my usual melancholic mood? Eh, no way.
Can't wait the next one.

I like Nifelvind, but it is definitely a grower. As time goes by I hear all sorts of new things which I did not hear in earlier listening`s of the album, which makes me like it all the more.
However it is difficult to pinpoint what sort of mood I am in when I listen to Nifelvind, It is a very eclectic mix. and varied too. I just listen to it kind of when I feel like it, but I guess folk interpret what they hear and how they listen. Which makes it interesting to discuss such things.
I am also looking forward to the next one.
