Uhm, seems you're going to do some cover songs?

Uhm, that just might be it! *trollface*

Next album will be another cover album, then we do a bad symphony orchestra album from old songs with horrible arrangements which ruin the original material completely, and then we will do a new album, St. Aldhissla, which will have Ö- rated riffs with a screechy bedroom BM- production for the authenticity and sell millions. ^^

By the way, I have the sensation that the next album will have a music style/influences very different than the previous album... with eletronics, a sort of Turmion Katilot meets Finntroll in the new era O.o

We´ll probably have some influences from that too, but most likely keep the industrial vibe "primitive" like in e.g. Mot Skuggornas Värld. All the "rythmic" stuff you hear there are 100% played and not sequenced, and we use woodblocks, stones and whatever metal pieces instead of drum machine sounds etc. We like the "Steampunk"- approach too much, you see. :D
There´s also probably going to be more psychobilly- influences too, but then again, you never know. If it´s up to me it´s a mish- mash between black metal, weird unexplained ethnic shit, psychobilly and cartoon-esque grimness....but then again, there are many other people in this band too. ;)

And yes, we´re actually on the process of making another album. No dates have been set and the guys will need some break from the constant touring but we´ve thought together a lot of things and will do another full- lenght album at some point again.
With Finntroll, every album is an uncertainty, as we basically split up already in 2003. :D

But didn't you sign a three album deal with Century Media? You still owe them two ;)
One beer to rule them all.
One whiskey to find them.
One vodka to bring them all
and in the drunkness bind them!

I found 2 things very promising in "Nifelvind":

1 - The music style of Den Frusna Munnen

2 - The melody Elfman-oriented at the end of Drap

I wish that the next album will continue in this way, probabably expanding some musical aspect (like the tribal Blodmarsch).
As you wrote, we'll see....

The fun part about contracts is that you can break them ;)
Still to this day
I can hear the whistle blow
I can smell the sage burn
I may be as old and stubborn as a pine
But I am just as wild as the young.

Yayness! Thanks Sanderz. This should be a new topic, tho, what do you people think (open one!)?
