Ive recently got Jaktens Tid, and I really like Katla,s vocals He has a very unique style of vocals. In my humble opinion he has a very guttural growl, that has strength and great power to it. A dark sounding voice which is execellent

I also like Tapio Wilska, he has a very gruff and gravelly voice. on Nattfodd & Trollhammaren, it is interesting to hear the albums I have, with each vocalist. They all have unique styles and bring something different to Finntroll music
I like them all for different reasons
However I think my favourite would be Vreth, as this was the first Singer with the band that I heard. Its that first contact with the bands music which has shaped my opinion on this

I can honestly say I like all three. I tend to have an "it's all good" outlook on things. My reason being, each contributed their own unique style to the band, and all had their strengths. What I look for in a good metal vocalist is their ability to bring variation to their work, which I've seen in all three singers of Finntroll. What I like about Katla and Wilska is their "trollish" sound, and Vreth brings a kind of brutal edge into the mix.

I don't think I can decide. All of them are good in their own ways, and I'm glad that each vocalist change has been successful, because for me, vocalists make or break a band.

I always found Vreth and Katla to be perfect for the albums they performed on. I never really liked the vocals on nattfodd though, I always find the nattfodd songs 10 times better when vreth sings them live. But if I really need to pick one it has to be Vreth ^^
