I ordered the limited edition from the webshop, but downloaded it, anyway. Couldn't wait that long. Am I a horrible human being?

If you are one, you won't have much fun with the trolls
Still to this day
I can hear the whistle blow
I can smell the sage burn
I may be as old and stubborn as a pine
But I am just as wild as the young.

Personally, I don't see the problem with downloading if you have every intention to buy. My cat has been to the vet twice in the past 4 days, leaving my bank account completely wiped out. I get paid on the 2nd, and I will surely order it from the site then.

Downloading without buying is not cool though, especially with a band as awesome as Finntroll (not trying to kiss ass here).

Got him :)

Now be patient for the next four days since all the mods but Trollhorn will be at MetalCamp ;)
One beer to rule them all.
One whiskey to find them.
One vodka to bring them all
and in the drunkness bind them!

TrollhorN wrote:Here´s an interesting topic for the Xmas holidays for you guys!

Remember when we were kids and when Xmas came, we used to guess what´s inside the present wrappings under the tree? Maybe trying to tear the package a bit in silence before mum noticed and yelled you to "stop fooling with the presents or Santa will get angry and for the last time, come to the Xmas dinner table already!" And then you spent the next hour chewing ham absent- minded because you couldn´t be sure was that one package with your name on it REALLY that cool toy you had wished from Mr. Santa?
No adults can really remember well enough how it was to be a kid two hours before the present- handling- out- ritual, right?

Or can we?

Given that Nifelvind is going to be out soon, the promos are most likely to flow around the world early next year. And we all know what happens then, hehe. So, my question is: Will you download the album as soon as you can before it´s released, or will you wait until the release? Does it matter to you if you download it, that you will miss all the art, lyrics and the concept of the album, having only "anonymous music" in your hard drive or do you only want to satisfy your curiousity, like peeking under the Xmas present wrapping?

I´m not going to moralize anyone for doing what they do, nor this is a poll about "yes, I will buy it"- this is a poll ONLY about "are you going to tear the wrapping when mum´s not looking?" So, let´s hear you out. How many of you will go nuts a´la Chip ´n Dale when you hear about the leaked promos? And to untighten your folio hat a bit- be honest! Even Santa can´t see your IP´s here. :D
And given my personal word on the matter, I or no- one in the band will ever hold any of you responsible for anything for answering this poll - I´m only curious and want honest answers from a dedicated fan perspective- not just from "some random metal fan". You guys are special! :D

Hail Santa,

The Fat Bastard.

All right. To be honest, I do not really want to download the CD but I´m from Argentina and this things never come here (or take a long time to come) so I download it. A few weeks late the album goes out, Nifelvind was in a record store far away from my home, but I buy it. The thing is...I have the original CD....but is not so original than European version.
What about the people that never will enjoy all the art..all the things...so as well Under Dvargens Fot?
For those who sleeps under every root and every stone
