Lot of my friends said, pff that's not Finntroll its dead since Somnium died.

Their beloved Somnium did roughly 50% of the music in Midnattens Windunder (also because it was already done in the demo), 30% in Jaktens Tid and 10% in Visor om Slutet. Clearly, without him we lost our identity, are a mere shadow of our past glory and should have changed the bandname.

You have continued Finntroll successfully, lot of great albums..

We have been the creative force behind Finntroll since we joined the band after the demo. Always us. Somnium and Katla didn´t actually give a flying fuck after Jaktens Tid was released but drifted away doing other stuff, leaving the band to us others yet bathing in the glory of being "behind" Finntroll´s music.

Mmmm it might sound really hard to Somnium's fans without an open mind but well, that's the truth. He was just one guy of 5, I liked him so much but I like Finntroll's albums before and after he died. There are lots of "they're not the same since ???? died/left...", I prefer to use Occam's razor, keep listening to them if you like their stuff/if you don't like just don't listen...

Solsagan seems a high quality video but I don't understand the story behind it, I hope to read the lyrics when the album cames out!Anyway I like pretty much the song, I'm curious about the rest of the album.

Totally agree with that. People should stop whining abut things they cannot change. And its ridicoulous to say, Finntroll was only good/perfect/like it should be or whatever with Somnium. Thats years ago and maybe even if Somnium was still with the band, they might have changed in the direction they now go. So what? If they would do the same CD over and over again, it's the same people saying, band gets boring and doesn't develop any more.... Some people are never content and constantly need to complain about something.

SOLSAGAN is sooooooo great, I already loved the last "cry" in that cute deer video. It took me 2 and a half hour to finally download it (yep, this time I admit I have to download, because with our ISDN internet access its impossible to watch video, you get only fragments and it takes decades ). I am so happy its only few more weeks to CD release and Frankfurt gig .

The new shit is amazing, so you don't have to panic. Someone will like it, and someone will not. That's it, your music is still great.
