DVD or more fake press?

Sorry to recycle the topic, but I am curious if one of the band members would like to respond. I have seen more fake press, as well as what appeared to be a raw recorded live Finntroll show floating around on the web for a while now. I am sure there are dvd plans for sometime, or one might even be in progress, but I am just curious on how the band feels?

In theory, some "test cuts" can be floating around. In practice, I don´t know what the HELL is going on with the DVD.
I have the live audio track master, ready to be published and that´s it.

Show the link and I can definitely tell you is it from the DVD "material" or something else! Also, one very good indicator is that if you won´t see me there it´s definitely not from that shoot....unless they have cut me away.

I actually don't have a copy of the video any more, but I do remember a wide open stage, Vreth, and Aleksi on the keys(I really hope I am not mistaking Aleksi for you, unless you lost significant weight). I remember thinking, 'well, it has the latest vocalist at least.' But the sound quality was not great and I knew that you would never let a Finntroll live video have bad audio because that would reflect on your masterful engineering skills.

We can be patient for sure. I really just prefer hearing these things from the source so I don't have to hear the drama. Hell, I have waited forever for the new Wintersun. I think I can wait for just about anything after that.

Yes, you're right... I've just done a little research and the concert was recorded in the year TWO THOUSAND AND FUCKING EIGHT. I didn't remember it was so long ago. If kvlt classic black metal albums took one year to be released, then Finntroll will be the KVLTEST OF THE KVLT!!!1

I guess I would be pissed if a video of my band was leaked that was meant for production. Wintersun had that happen with a Summerbreeze video a while back. It looked as though the video was all handy cams and the sound was direct from the board. Events such as this speak of employees at said venue usually being the culprits. Yeah I have wanted a Finntroll dvd for a long time, but I would definitely prefer to wait for the full mix/final version. Random videos (cough...youtube...cough) sometimes put potential fans off as they might think 'wow, the band doesn't sound very good live.' Can't blame fans for posting short vids of course, but I laugh when people post 15 minutes of the set recorded by a cell phone camera and claim they got a 'good video.'
