I guess I can't afford to have you do one or two paintings for me, as you said that selling one was enough to pay your rent for a whole month...

oh, no, that was a traditional painting on a canvas and it was very big-- the picture above was painted digitally in Painter X and Photoshop CS3 and something like this might run you, eh, $25? $30? It was originally painted at a 1000x1200-ish resolution and took maybe 3 hours.
