needless to say it's better than sam adams or yeungling-although neither is horrible this is way better. ;)

I always wondered how much you have to pay for that stuff over there...

Like €1.75 here. Not that I've taken a liking to wheat beer, anyway.

Try €2,35 in Ireland. PER BOTTLE. IN SHOP. Pub prices are closer to 5€ per bottle. All that is if youre lucky. And out of Dublin. Dublin pubs charge up to 7€ per bottle.

Holy crap! Time to start brewing your own! ;)

And yeah, Yuengling is like this "well-known secret" or something around here... I haven't met anyone from outside the state of Pennsylvania (or at least near the borders) who's even heard of it, yet everyone here swears by it! It's America's oldest brewery and we're hoarding it all in one little spot :P

@Amalaith: €2,50 really IS great value for Hefeweizen in Pubs nowadays :!:
@The others: I thought you'd get ripped off in countries outside Germany - as for Ireland and Dublin in particular: The Pubs probably have to pay protection money to the Guinness Clan for getting the permission to sell foreign beverages...

Yeah but I must admit only here in our lonely countryside, if you go to Frankfurt or Heidelberg its more 2,70 - 3,00 €. But still okay I think. In London-Camden I had to pay 4,30 pounds for a 0,4 beer....
