Paulaner, hoffbrau, spaten etc are about 8-9 bucks a six, which isn't cheap but it's reasonable.Mainstream stuff like Bud is more like 4-5 bucks a six.And we have Yeungling here in NY,(right next to PA) but it really isn't something to get worked up over.If I'm drinking PA beer I'd rather have a rolling rock. And I can make my own Black and tan's,don't need a brewery to mix it for me.
Right now I'm drinking a Miller high life-if I am having mass produced US twist top beer, this is what I have. It's less salty and carbonated than most big US beers.
we have lots of decent micro brew beer here in the us,even the overly hoppy IPA stuff is ok if you aren't eating with it,you pay about twice the amount for a six than bud,but it tastes much better.
I have years of cheap shitty beer drinking behind me,and at this point I would rather drink what i like or stick to water.
it's just another in a lifetime's worth of lessons never learned
