Thank you I will check it out! :)

Has anyone heard of the author, Sigrid Undset ? Have read about her in a holiday brochure, a trilogy about Kristin Lavransdatter. Set in the middle ages, here is a link :)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sigurd_Undset

I have one of her books called Gunnar's Daughter. I haven't read it yet. The Wiki link is wrong.
I'm reading Aristotle: Poetics. It is about how to write stuff. I guess I should have read this book earlier.

But I'll have to stop reading over the weekend ... And be nervous about what happens next.

i also bought Warriors, edited by GRRM, and it had the latest installment of the Dunk and Egg series. pretty damn good.

Illyés Gyula: Ki a magyar? (Who is Hungarian?). That's an interesting question as the Hungarian people is a mixture of several nationalities. Practically avowing yourself Hungarian makes you Hungarian, even speaking the language is not necessary.

C.S Lewis The Chronicles of Narnia The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe, I haven`t read this in a few years as I have been watching the film so now I can make a comparison between the two.

I have finally joined the many legions of people reading Terry Pratchett's Discworld series. I was told to start with "The Colour of Magic", but that wasn't available at the library, so I'm starting with "Mort".

My first discworld book as well. I have read only six of them so far, but Mort is one of the best ones amnog them.

There's mostly no need to read them chronologically, the only books I can recall where it actually mattered somewhat were the city guard books. I think I read Soul Music first.

Pratchett took part in a documentary about Euthanasia where he travelled to The Netherlands to find out more about it. He has Alzheimers himself, so uh.. tough watch.

Agreed I started with "Men at Arms" then read "Hogfather", and have read Terry Pratchett`s books randomly and have enjoyed them all. "Mort" is a good one too :D
Talking to my niece the other day, and she told me her stepfather is a big fan of Terry Pratchett. He took all of his "Discworld" books along to a convention and got them all signed by the author :)
