That church looks like something from a Fantasy RPG game. Awesome ^^

excellent report as usual-you should have a show about places to go if you are a metalhead :)

+1

Next time I go to Norway I must remember to contact you beforehand. Maybe I should even make you my personal travel guide. Thank you for sharing this excellent report!

Awesome pictures. All places that I would really like to visit someday. That's funny that the guy automatically greeted you in English when you went into Helvete, and the paranoid guard...oh noes! Metalheads!

He told Skygge he can't walk on the grass. But it looked like he just tried to come up with something that sounded like a believable rule. "No talking" would be absurd and we weren't doing anything he could really tell us not to do.
One beer to rule them all.
One whiskey to find them.
One vodka to bring them all
and in the drunkness bind them!

The guy was not Norwegian and was kinda freaky. I gave up talking but he was so obniouxous and aggressive I should have played more with him. In Norway as long as a placed is not fenced, especially "known places" like Fantoft (only private stavechurch in Norway) you can go where you want. But whatever. I was at this same place 50 times maybe.

Been busy with work and what not since I came home, but I went on a vacation in Germany from the 5th of August to the 23rd. I would post pictures, but my dumbfriend lost his smartphone that had all the pictures. So all I've got is my hazy memory.
Like getting the singer of Horna to sing Ei Tippa Tapa.

And I appreciate the tip about Barther and all, Ingrid, but it was a pretty weird festival. :P

Go go WHITE POWER Rangeeer, duuh nu nu nu-nuh - Barther festival German
Jag saknar sommaren om vintern, och vår när det är höst
Jag klagar över värmen, gnäller högt i regn och rusk ^_^
Men över allt i världen, så vill jag stanna här

Yeah, folks are said to be like that a lot there...that's why I never bothered going.
Still to this day
I can hear the whistle blow
I can smell the sage burn
I may be as old and stubborn as a pine
But I am just as wild as the young.

Yeah.. There seemed to be a municipal election or something coming up while we were there. As we were rolling into Barth, we noticed that some party called NPD seemed to have the most election signs put up. We got the gist of it when we went by a big sign saying "KRIMINALISCHE AUSLÄNDER RAUS"

Within the first hour of the festival we met a guy who was so racist that he didn't want any non-Germans near his camp and told us to go somewhere else. Wearing an Absurd T-shirt, of course
