But well, one after another, I am meeting the boardmembers (another two due this year at least), and since you live in Germany after all, things will work out some day.

Anyone else going to Munich or Giessen????

Winzling, I fear we have no active Austrians on this board, at least not by my knowledge.
One beer to rule them all.
One whiskey to find them.
One vodka to bring them all
and in the drunkness bind them!

So yeah, it's already been a week, but before I completely forget about it, a few impressions on the Berlin Gig:

Since it was one of them extended shows, the gates already opened at 14:30, and by the time Fintroll started (22:00) I was already pretty wasted, especially since the fucking Berliner Pilsner they were daring to sell there was un-fucking-drinkable and I had to settle with Hefeweizen for the whole time. I like it, actually, but drinking absurd amounts of it can lead to funny stomach problems...well, whatever. The show was solid n' good as usual - but unfortunately, the sound sucked big time once again, so that took a bit of steam out of the whole thing. All you guys who have not been on this tour yet: I think it is not too much if I tell you that you can expect some of the new cover songs to be performed live...even tho I am not going to spoil you which ones they are. ;) Besides the show itself, it was nice to meet Zwerg again, great to finally meet ze Shamaniac (with whom I drank way more than just one pint :D ) and of course, catch up with Mathias and Samuli again, who claimed that after only 3 days of the show, it already felt like they had been on tour for at least two weeks. Unfortunately, not meeting Sami this time, but as the guys told me, he was very hungoverish and prefered to stay Backstage the whole time (that was seconded when I saw them on stage, tho. Poor Tundra really wasn't in his usual on-stage partying mood).Anyway, tons of fun, and I deeply regret that I cannot go to more than just this one show (they'll be in Leipzig this weekend, while I will NOT be, ffs).
Still to this day
I can hear the whistle blow
I can smell the sage burn
I may be as old and stubborn as a pine
But I am just as wild as the young.

I had a blast in Oberhausen haha.
Took some pics, watched a while from the back of the venue. And then jumped dancing into the moshpit with a friend of mine and ran through it about ten times.. just because we cán! 8-)

I had a very bad day concerning photographing :( :( :( , but my colleague wrote a praising part about Finntroll in the review :)

Ljubljana yesterday, I'm gonna be short.

We actually already caught a glance of Finntroll before the gig in the bar/cafeteria we went to get coffee before the show. That place has a stuffed monkey on the bar (not a toy, an actual dead stuffed monkey). I'm there rarely enough for the monkey to surprise me every time.

Then the show - the rest of the bands before Finntroll proved to be more fun than I hoped. The evening actually went by very fast. The sound was nothing out of the ordinary, that venue usually has too much noise over the actual music, but what the heck. Finntroll opened with Avgrunden öppnas (at least so I read, I didn't recognise it thanks to my earplugs - they were supposed to kill the noise, not the keyboards *facepalm* - I discovered this mistake well into the 2nd song when I actually didn't recognise what they were playing until I took the damn things out of my ears). Setlist included Inscets and The God That Failed, besides that something off every record.
I didn't see how the audience was because I was up front, but from the number of crowd surfers and I think one stage-diver (and after that angry security guys trying to prevent more of that) I'd say it was quite lively. I know there were some mosh pits but I luckly managed not to get involved.
The band didn't play a standard encore - they just played all the songs - because, as Vreth explained, thanks to the venue they couldn't move somewhere in the back to act like rockstars and wait to be called back. I really liked the way this was done.
Plus, they really are genuinely nice guys.

Besides Finntroll: Thanks to the guy that helped us tie the bags on the security fence. And there was no strobo after Alestorm.

My ears don't work properly now and my neck hurts. As my friend put it, that's a definition of a great concert, so there you go.

Ärväthyyll, that`s really good report ;) since you covered up pretty much everything, I have just a few notes to add.

I was really surprised by the number of crowd surfers. As far as I remember, I have never seen crowd surfing at the any concert in Slovenia (except Metalcamp, but that`s different). I really don`t like the filling that somebody is crawling above me, so luckily, only one guy surfed straight over my head.

Despite the fact that it was hot as hell some girl just behind me was wearing some fox fur-coat...thumbs up for the spirit!

When playing the last song, Jaktens tid, Masha came to sing along, so it was really nice ending.
And the top of all, as Ärväthyyll already mentioned, there was no strobo.

*I`m happyhappyhappy :)

It seems like she has been doing so pretty much everywhere on this tour, except...well, guess where: Berfuckinglin of course! FFS. No matter how good things turn out in the end (my expectations are always pretty much ZERO when it comes to this shithole)I just can never fully win. :x

But you guys got Wintersun instead ;) Headlining, even!

I completely forgot to mention all the exchanges, yeah. Vreth came to sing with Alestorm, I think, and Finntroll had a Trollfest guy* playing during The God That Failed and Masha during Jaktens Tid.

* I'm not 100% sure he was from Trollfest - his face paint suggested that, but I don't really know band members of other bands. Pay-a-bloody-ttention next time!
