DVD or more fake press?

In my opinion, if somebody watches an obviously bad cellphone video in Youtube and gets put off because of the quality, that person isn't very smart... it's not an official DVD, it's just a bootleg!

Well, its more of personal preference I guess. I am a perfectionist, musically and in pretty much all of my pursuits. If my band had a video out there that could have been mixed better, I would be pissed. I don't really care if it's free or not. I would want the music to sound good for myself and the fans. But I know you just want to look at the trollmen. :p

I understand where you are coming from. Youtube is usually crap unless the video is an official release. Bootlegs or full set videos are one thing, stolen performance. So not only is the guy filming without permission being a dick, he/she is doing a disservice to good band by posting something of lesser quality. Once again, it is basically a matter of preference. I guess I am just defensive of good bands who deserve better.

Hmmm. I see your point. We differ here then... In official releases I demand the best quality, of course, because it's official and I pay for it; but I love bootlegs too. When a video appeared on Youtube showing Moonsorrow playing "Huuto" for the first time, the sound was horrible but I was so happy I could watch it. Something similar goes for this Finntroll cncert at Lowlands - I watched it some months ago and liked to have the opportunity because I've never seen the band live, don't think I will see them soon and don't have any official concert... So, it's the only way!

So I hope full concerts keep appearing

I can definitely understand you. I only saw Finntroll once, so I did 'deal' with the not so good sound. I am also a little biased because I perform and produce music, so I am a perfectionist and want everything to sound great musically. I can't help it, I am passionate about good sound.

@Trollhorn: The dvd will be double disc? I mean one cd with the live video concert and the second one with the audio tracks?

On a previous post you said that the dvd will be release for sure before the album comes out, so... any news at that point? I mean, it will be out at the end of February?
