For me, nothing tops the Kantian gem that Swayze utters in "Roadhouse";

"Pain don't hurt"

What are yours?

There's already a quote thread
Still to this day
I can hear the whistle blow
I can smell the sage burn
I may be as old and stubborn as a pine
But I am just as wild as the young.

a couple

Lord of the rings (The two towers)
Aragorn: What do you fear, my lady?
Eowyn: A cage. To stay behind bars until use and old age accept them and all chance of valor has gone beyond recall or desire.
Aragorn: You are a daughter of kings, a shield maiden of Rohan. I do not think that will be your fate.

Conan The barbarian
Mongol General: Wrong! Conan! What is best in life?
Conan: To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women.
Mongol General: That is good! That is good.

I know something else that's annoying...
Still to this day
I can hear the whistle blow
I can smell the sage burn
I may be as old and stubborn as a pine
But I am just as wild as the young.

Backseat? We don't even have a driver.
Jag saknar sommaren om vintern, och vår när det är höst
Jag klagar över värmen, gnäller högt i regn och rusk ^_^
Men över allt i världen, så vill jag stanna här

"I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?" Harry Callahan, Dirty Harry.

"You see in this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig."
The man with no name, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

Uf, there has to be bajillion quotes that i really like, here are two:

"Let me give you a little inside information about God. God likes to watch. He's a prankster. Think about it. He gives man instincts! He gives you this extraordinary gift, and then what does he do, I swear for his own amusment, his own private, cosmic gag reel, he sets the rules in opposition. It's the goof of all time. Look but don't touch. Touch, but don't taste! Taste, don't swallow. Ahaha! And when you're jumpin' from one foot to the next, what is he doing? He's laughin' his sick, fuckin' ass off. He's a tight-ass! He's a sadist! He's an absentee landlord. Worship that? Never!"
(Al Pacino as John Milton in The Devil's Advocate ... but you really have to hear Al say it, i think you agree.:))

"Me? I'm dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It's the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they're going to do something incredibly... stupid."
(Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow in POTC)
