I have a friend who has I think the second, and now he's probably gonna lend it to me so I can try if I can make it to work.. I'm just afraid I won't be able to play it, 'cause it's obviously made for Windows 95 and I have Vista. That was my problem with Rayman I bought about a year ago. I got to the menu, but from there it just wouldn't start, even though I ran it in the compability mode.. Oh well, I might have to take my computer to the Uni someday, so the friend can help me with the game. Me wants to play old Heroes!

Just pirate it. There are often torrents of XP compatible versions out, so you won't have any trouble with that.
If I already bought a game and it doesn't work on a newer OS I'll have no moral qualms about pirating/cracking it.

@ Wicked: Yeah, that's probably what I have to do in the end..

I've never played the second, but I do still have the original Pandemonium for both PC and PS. It is one of my all-time favourite games. 8-)

My friend who is a complete JRPG nerd said FFXIII was terrible. He said this after playing it for about 50 hours in one week, so I guess he knows what he's talking about.

I will never understand the appeal of those games.

You can go take a piss in the middle of a battle... that's a selling point.

Oblivion. Arg. That game was a lot of fun until your character becomes a vampire. I never seemed to not get that quest. And it's such a pain in the ass not being able to go out in the day, yet you have to wander about picking flowers. Wtf

I've been playing this a lot lately. Mountain Maniac at adultswim.com. Mindless entertainment FTW!

Stars Wars:Tor looks all kinds of awesome, and if it turns out not to be, i think a sith inspired killing spree is in order.
