Just pirate it. There are often torrents of XP compatible versions out, so you won't have any trouble with that.
If I already bought a game and it doesn't work on a newer OS I'll have no moral qualms about pirating/cracking it.
With all it's psychopathic levels, retardish-voices, head-trains, tongue trampolines and... oh, the first bosses theme!
