Your favourite Finntroll album/song?

I don't remember I have anytime answered here. So the best album is "Nattfoedd" for me - the greatest voices, the greatest music, even if i think that "Jaktens Tid" is amazing too.
Songs? ALDHISSLA! D: D: D: That's the best Finntroll's song for ever for me! "Jaktens Tid" is worth of listening too, "Grottans Barn" is just a masterpiece, "Asfågelns Död" and "Vindfärd/Människopesten" are so extraordinary, and "Under Varje Rot Och Sten" is so magic...
And now - "Solsagan". Fucking shEEt, it's so great!!! The videoclip is one of the best metal videoclips ever for me. oO'

About my favorite list of songs - Solsagan, Trollhammaren, Jaktens Tid, En Mäktig Här, Midnattens Widunder and Svart Djup (I can't stop wondering why I could never find a live performance of it on the web).

Ive been thinking about the instrumentals, Krigg, Bakom Varje Fura, and Gryning. I really ike these pieces of music, they all have a magical quality to them which in my humble opinion brings out an otherworldly feel to them, I also get the impression there is a classical air to each composition? which I really like and they work well along side the vocal tracks, Trollhorn is a very gifted writer and musician

I like all albums and every single song, but in Nattfödd Trollhammaren for some reason makes me get speacially euphoric.At the end I chose Nifelvind, I'm still marveled with it.

My favourite album is Jaktens Tid. I don't know which is my favourite song, I can't choose any.

I really like Trollhammaren, and Skog these songs are heavy and really melodic too there are some great riffs as well in these songs

My favourite one is Nattfödd. I can't get fed up with it:D All of the albums fascinated me, but this one is the top for me. I don't know the reason why... maybe because of the keyboard riffs.

I voted UJD as my favorite album, although I like them all. Honestly, with the exception of Trollhammaren, I like all of Finntroll's songs, so it's hard to pick a favorite. If I absolutely had to pick one though, I'd pick Slagbröder, but that's probably only because it came to mind before something else.

Nattfödd has always been my favorite. I love its joyful melodies and happy atmosphere.

When Ur Jordens Djup came out, I didn't like it that much. It was much darker and heavier. Maybe too dark for my taste.

But then Nifelvind came. It absolutely blew my mind. It's the best album by Finntroll and it's by far the best album this year by anyone. It's darker and heavier than Nattfödd for sure, but it's not UJD either.

And a funny thing happened after Nifelvind. After I had fell in love with the record, I started to like Ur Jordens Djup much more than before. I kinda just heard parts and things in there I hadn't seemed to noticed before. I realized it's not all dark, heavy and mean after all.

I have a great analysis of this thing. I love Nattfödd, 'cause it's so cheerful. I despised UJD 'cause it was so dark and heavy. Nifelvind is kinda hybrid of these two, it has both. It's not as cheery as Nattfödd, but it's not as dark as UJD. It's somewhere in the between. So when I fell in love with Nifelvind, I kinda "accepted" the heavy and dark things in the process and that's why I was able to enjoy UJD far more after that. If I before despised some dark and heavy parts on UJD, I was now able to hear the beauty in the them. And somehow the whole UJD opened to me in a whole different way after Nifelvind.

Although Ur Jordens Djup has now earned its place in my heart, my vote goes to Nifelvind.

An absolute masterpiece.

I assume that Nifelvind is most popular because that tends to happen when you just hear an album. Wait a year or so and you get a better picture. I like Ur Jordens Djup much more than I did when it first came out.
